Tapan Modi
Tapan is a member of the MBA class of 2012 focusing on Entrepreneurship and Private Equity Finance. Before starting at McCombs, Tapan spent two years as an associate with The Sterling Group, a middle-market private equity firm in Houston. Prior to Sterling, Tapan served as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers, focusing on transactions in the energy industry. Originally from Arlington, Texas, Tapan received his BBA in Business Honors and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006.
At McCombs, Tapan is actively involved in the McCombs Admissions Committee and the Graduate Business Council where he serves as the VP of External Affairs.
