George Liu
George is a member of the MBA class of 2013 concentrating in Global Business. Prior to attending McCombs, George worked for Scotia Waterous, a Houston-based oil and gas investment bank focused on transacting assets in the exploration and production segment. Before Scotia, George helped to launch the investment banking arm of O’Keefe & Associates, a turnaround consulting firm in Michigan. George began his career at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co., a middle market M&A adviser in Ohio. Originally from China, George earned a degree in Economics from Northwestern University in 2007.
At McCombs, Chris is also a member of the Energy Finance Group, Graduate Finance Association, Graduate Consulting Group, and is the president of the China Business Association.
