Eric Brewer
Eric joined the Venture Fellows program in Fall 2011 and is a member of the MBA Class of 2013, concentrating in Management Consulting. He is currently working at TEXO Ventures, an Austin-based venture capital firm dedicated to investing in and building innovative healthcare companies. Within the business school, Eric is Vice President of Recruiting for Venture Fellows, President of the Graduate Consulting Group, and a member of the McCombs Admissions Committee.
Prior to attending the McCombs, Eric was Manager of Liquidation Strategy at GMAC Mortgage in Dallas. In six years with the company, Eric designed GMAC’s HAFA implementation, created the company’s home equity analysis model, and created several new modification products
Originally from Klein, Texas, Eric graduated fromTexas A&M University in 2004 with a degree in Economics. In his free time he is a big baseball fan and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with his wife, Meredith, and dog, Bono.
