Alex Melzer
Alex is a member of the MBA class of 2012 concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending the McCombs School of Business, Alex spent six years with Vineyard Vines, a former INC 500 apparel company based in Connecticut. While with Vineyard Vines Alex contributed towards key projects within operations, sales, marketing, planning, and development and grew a strong appreciation for addressing the many challenges that growing businesses face day in and out.
Alex grew up in Darien, Connecticut and graduated from the University of Maryland in 2004 with a degree in economics. While at McCombs Alex is also an active member of Board Fellows and a regular participant on the Graduate Business Adventure Team.
